BPI Real Estate Poland & SPEEDWELL join forces for landmark residential development in Gdańsk

A new premium residential project is set to redefine urban living in Gdańsk, thanks to a strategic joint venture between BPI Real Estate Poland and SPEEDWELL on the site earlier secured by BPI.

This development will bring together modern, sustainable design and deep respect for the city’s historic character. Ideally located near the Old Town, the project promises to be an attractive opportunity for both investors and future residents.

A Prime Location, Perfectly Connected

Situated in an excellent neighborhood near the heart of Gdańsk, this new residential community will offer approximately 750 apartments across 36,000 sqm of residential space. Some units will boast stunning views of the city skyline, including St. Mary’s Church, while the nearby riverside boulevards and pedestrian pathways will enhance the quality of life for residents. The project is designed for those seeking a peaceful, green environment, yet still wanting easy access to the city’s dynamic cultural and business scene.

“This new investment aligns with our long-term strategy of developing high-quality, well-located residential projects that contribute to the dynamic urban landscape of Poland’s key cities. Together with Speedwell, we are committed to delivering a modern, sustainable development that will enhance the Gdańsk skyline and offer future residents an exceptional living experience,” said Béranger Dumont, General Manager of BPI Real Estate Poland.

Sustainability at Its Core

The development is defined by a distinctive architectural concept, selected and finalized also following an architectural competition, emphasizing sustainability and harmony with the city’s historical fabric. It will feature a mix of apartments—from studios to spacious four-bedroom units—each with functional layouts. The project will also incorporate generous green spaces, fostering a sense of community and well-being while promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle.

“We believe in the extraordinary potential of Gdańsk, for which we have a special respect and attraction. The project that we will develop together with our partners at BPI Real Estate Poland will reshape the future of a part of this wonderful city. We will do it with passion, respect, and always with the needs of its inhabitants in mind—offering quality, care for the environment, and a sense of well-being that defines true home living,” said Didier Balcaen, CEO and Co-Founder of SPEEDWELL Development.

A Powerful Joint Venture for a Game-Changing Project

This project marks the beginning of a strong partnership between two market-leading residential developers: BPI Real Estate Poland, with extensive experience in Poland’s major cities, and SPEEDWELL, a key player in the Romanian real estate market.
